Metropolitan flavour of Samsung

The hospitality management system Tillypad XL ensures successful operation of cafeteria in Samsung Corporation head office in Moscow.
The catering service for Samsung Corporation employees and guests is provided by the Metropolitan Flavour company. Its cafeteria serves more than 800 people per day. In order to provide high speed and high quality of service for such number of visitors, Metropolitan Flavour chose the restaurant management system Tillypad XL.
The SoftAlyans company, which implemented this project, considered all requirements to the automation of this cafeteria. The primary objective was the setting of a complex system of privileges and limits for different groups of users, as well as an accurate accounting of sales data.
To that end, various groups were created within Tillypad XL comprising employees and visitors. Each group had a different set of parameters, such as monthly and daily budget credit, periods of use of cafeteria (for example,  permanent for employees, or for a day or two for guests), time of admission to the canteen (some groups of employees are not allowed to eat in the cafeteria in the evening), etc. The Tillypad XL system allowed to adjust all necessary conditions, right down to the limit of the maximum amount you can spend per day. It helps employees keep track of their monthly spending on food and not to exceed the prescribed amount.
Customers pay with magnetic cards to eliminate the use of cash and expedite the service process. Samsung employees receive a detailed receipt indicating the cost of the order, as well as the rest of their daily and monthly limit. The Tillypad XL system accurately takes stock and keeps records of cafeteria operation. All reports are available to Metropolitan Flavour and the Samsung management, who can connect to Tillypad XL and conduct data reconciliation.
