At this year’s International Green Week, the largest food and agriculture fair in Europe, visitors were served by Tillypad XL in two of the fair’s restaurants.
International Green Week is one of the biggest and most well-known annual events in Germany. For 80 years it has been a showcase for the latest achievements of European agricultural producers and manufacturers. This year the fair attracted more than 1500 exhibitors and almost half a million visitors from all over the world.
Catering was provided by the Berlin restaurant chain ‘Peterhof’, which has been running Tillypad XL ever since it opened. Peterhof and Tillypad set up two large restaurant pavilions where visitors were treated to the finest of traditional Russian and Ukrainian fare.
Around 300,000 customers were served using Tillypad XL over the 10 days of the fair. Not only diners were impressed by the impeccable service – the fair’s organisers also commented on the exceptional level of technical organisation.
Thanks to Tillypad XL, Peterhof staff were left unfazed by the task of serving the enormous number of fair visitors while at the same time providing scheduled meals to exhibitors.
“The European market is an interesting one for us. German establishments have exacting standards and very specific expectations; gaining their trust is not something that happens overnight. Having a number of sites already running Tillypad XL in Berlin is a great advantage in promoting our system in the rest of Europe”
Sergey Remezoff, Tillypad Marketing Director
