Tillypad took part in The Hospitality Show, which was held in Birmingham on January 19–21, 2015.
Tillypad’s eye-catching stand was conveniently located in the central part of the NEC, close to the info stand. Professional restaurateurs took a profound interest in the Tillypad booth not only because of its central location, but also thanks to the practical and in-demand product updates on display, including Web-report features and mobile software solutions installable on smartphones and tablets.
British restaurant managers and owners were drawn in by the undeniably useful new Web-reports feature, which enables the user to manage a restaurant and analyse its operations from anywhere in the world via a mobile device or computer. Now management can instantaneously generate virtually any report by retrieving sales and staff performance data online.
Another new feature, Mobile waiter, also received a warm welcome in Birmingham. Visitors to the exhibition duly appreciated this function, which allows waiters to enter orders on a mobile device and instantly send them to the kitchen. Order tickets arrive even before the waiter steps away from his/her customers.
The Hospitality Show, held annually, is the most visited hotel, restaurant and catering sector event in the UK. 2015 brought with it record attendance: during the show, the National Exhibition Centre of Birmingham saw a 20% increase in professional HoReCa visitors compared to previous years. Guests came to learn about new product lines from both well-known and newcomer suppliers, catch up with the newest trends in the hospitality management and automation spheres, find interior designers and network with leading market players.
Visitors and exhibitors at The Hospitality Show unanimously expressed a high opinion of the superb event, the scale of which was inspiring to all. Undoubtedly, The Hospitality Show provided a perfect tool for increasing Tillypad’s brand awareness and sales in the UK.
