Tillypad XL: Strike in Nizhny Novgorod

Tillypad XL is an excellent solution not only for restaurants but also for any entertainment and leisure industry applications. ITL has proved this once again by installing Tillypad XL in the Strike Zone sports and leisure centre.
ITL, a long-standing partner of Tillypad, has deployed many successful projects in Nizhny Novgorod. A few years ago, ITL carried out a Tillypad installation in the Alexander Garden complex, which comprises a hotel, restaurant and a bowling club named 'Strike'. An important requirement for the installation was the creation of a single payment space for visitors. The classic Tillypad system provided all the required functionality; hotel guests are able to use all services in the complex and pay for them when checking out.
The Alexander Garden hotel recently made the decision to open a chain of sports and leisure centres in Nizhny Novgorod. They opened their 'Strike Zone' in Fantastica, one of the largest shopping and entertainment centres in the city. Given their previous successful experience with Tillypad, the hotel management once again turned to ITL.
The project required connection of the two establishments into a single network with a single discount system, automated pool table management, staff surveillance and marketing campaigns. ITL completed the project in record time. The installation resulted in Tillypad XL being deployed both in the Alexander Garden and at the site in Fantastica. The upgrade of the hotel to Tillypad XL and connection of both projects into a single network was completed within a day, with no disruption to normal operations.
Valentina Gracheva, director of the integration department at ITL, commented on the project, "The new sports and leisure centre 'Strike Zone' includes a bar and kitchen, a pool hall and bowling alley, and is connected with a second establishment on the other side of town. The business processes in this establishment are totally unique, which makes the installation of a management system quite a challenge. This made it all the more interesting to roll out the project, which enabled us to use Tillypad XL's multitude of features all within a single establishment."
