Tillypad XL was a success in London

Tillypad participated in The Restaurant Show 2012, a key restaurant industry event in Great Britain.
The show is regarded as the most significant and well-known event in the catering industry in Great Britain. Each year more than 300 participants assemble to share their up-to-date solutions in services, products and everything that is needed to bring a success to your restaurant business.
The Restaurant Show is a three-day event dedicated to discussions, panel debates, presentations and professional competitions. It is a meeting of thousands of restaurateurs, caterers, owners, chefs, sommeliers and hoteliers who share their skills and ideas in order to make their business more prosperous. The cutting-edge nature of the show, and its wide recognition, is also proven by the steadily growing number of participating companies. This year, for example, their number has increased by 40 per cent.
This year the event was marked by the increased attention given to mobile solutions for the restaurant industry. Therefore it is no surprise that the Tillypad stand was so popular for the entire three days. Tillypad exhibited its iOS application, which has already gained momentum in Russia, and its recently launched application for OS Android.
Attendees were very interested in the Tillypad XL option to apply mobile devices as fully-fledged POS terminals and workstations for managing staff. They were enthusiastically testing system functions using their smartphones and tablets.
Moreover, Tillypad XL attracted restaurateurs from Great Britain as a way of computerizing all restaurant business processes without introducing any extra applications. Guests gave excellent feedback regarding various additional functions built into Tillypad XL, such as recording work time, automatic mailing of reports, chef display (KDS) and other solutions that make business more efficient.
“We are glad to note that this year substantially more visitors attended our stand. Their high interest in Tillypad XL and our rich experience in cooperating with restaurants in Great Britain prove that our product not only meets all necessary requirements, but can serve British restaurateurs well in computerizing their business”, observed Ludmila Alyamovskaya, Tillypad commercial director.
This is the second time that Tillypad has participated in The Restaurant Show. Over the last year the company has implemented Tillypad XL in several British restaurants, having taken into account the features of British business. This experience helped to expand Tillypad XL functions by giving an opportunity successfully to apply solutions offered to foreign partners in Russia, and vice versa.
